LacI-AroG* production under regulation of TetR repressible promoter
Regulatory construct to get expression of LacI (BBa_C0012) and mutated AroG (AroG*) (for details see the wild-type AroG; BBa_K1060000) under the control of the TetR repressible promoter (BBa_R0040). The AroG* (Pro150Leu and Leu175Asp) is less repressed by phenylalanine resulting in a upscaling of the shikimate pathway and production of more chorismic acid (ChA).
