Promoter Qrr4 + RFP

In Vibrio cholerae the Qrr4 gene is part of the quorum sensing genes. When Vibrio cholerae is not present it controls the formation of a sRNA which affects the virulence and biofilm formation of V.cholerae. We attached the promoter for Qrr4 to the reporter protein RFP to help us detect the presence or absence of V.cholerae.
