our team has proved that this part had work with GFP coding sequence when DNA damage occure caused by UV irradiation. after the cell exposure with UV irradiation for 10 sec, 1 min, and 10 min, all of them show the green fluorescence using Flourescence microscope qualitatively. While the control (the cells without UV irradiation) don't show the green fluorescen. It prove that the SOS response system induce this promoter to work and expression the gene that followed.
