Enteropeptidase converts the zymogen trypsinogen to trypsin by selectively cleaving the 6-Lys-|-Ile-7 bond. This in turn activates other pancreatic proteolytic proenzymes such as chymotrypsinogen, procarboxypeptidases, and proelastases [1].
