We used this part in combination with parts BBa_K323132 and BBa_K323135 and showed that this DNA program leads to higher yields of violacein production. Check results.
Applications of BBa_K323066
Experience by 2012 iGEM NCTU_FORMOSA
The design of our biobricks(Part:BBa_K887000) has the same order of zinc finger as 2010 Slovenia iGEM team, so we decided to use the DNA program (Part:BBa_K323066)
However, after sequencing, we found that there is a deletion of a base pair in the zif268 biding site.
So, we designed a complementary primer to insert the lost base pair. After PCR of point mutation, we sequence it again.
And the outcome is below
As a result, we successfully correct the lost G base at the zif268 binding site.
