Pichia pastoris optimized His-GFP-PTS1

This sequence codes for a wild-type green fluorescent protein (GFP) which has been codon optimized for Pichia pastoris and engineered to include a 6xHis-tag in its N-terminus and the peroxisomal targeting signal type 1 (PTS1) in its C-terminus. It also includes a yeast Kozak consensus sequence and the AOX1 transcription terminator sequence for its use in expression.

Tec-Monterrey Ekam is working on characterizing the functionality of this part's PTS1 through expression comparison with its counterpart BBa_K945004 lacking PTS1, which will be finalized shortly.
