Design Notes

There is a point mutation at position 56 of CheZ coding sequence with have little effect to its function and the bases corresponding to stop codon is changed to bases coding a more frequently used stop codon.

Source

The promoter used here was from 2012 Spring Distribution Kit from Partsregistry. The CheZ gene was extracted from E.coli strain MG1655 by colony PCR and it is aligned with CheZ sequence at EcoGene database.
