Rubredoxin reductase (Gordonia sp. TF6)

Rubredoxin reductase from the alkane hydroxylase system of Gordonia sp. TF6. The enzyme catalyzes the reduction of the second oxygen atom released from molecular oxygen using electrons supplied by NADH (see also K398001). Together with Medium-Chain Alkane Monooxygenase, Rubredoxin 3 and Rubredoxin 4 it forms the minimal component alkane hydroxylase system. For more information see the references below.
