hok/mok
The gene encoding a kind of toxic protein that can lead to bacteria death, whose mRNA will be repressed by sok antisense RNA.
Usage and Biology
The gene hok/mok from hok/sok system can encode a kind of toxic protein that can lead to cell death. We take advantage of this characteristic and take it as the switch of the suicide system. And sok, the gene also in hok/sok system, can encode a kind of antisense RNA to specifically bind to hok mRNA, repressing the expression of toxin.

For convenience, we set hok/mok and sok as a whole and didn't prepare both of them separately.
