Introduction

The staygold is a green fluorescent protein (GFP) derived from the jellyfish Cytaeis uchidae. It has high brightness, high stability and low phototoxity,[1] which is a perfect choice for our design.

Usage and Biology

There actually exists a stayGold part in registry: BBa_K4491134. We add a Gly and a Ser to it as a linker, allowing it to link with EP.
