Design Notes
PstI site within the mBanana sequence - has to be assembled using BioBrick assembly in such an order that any successive digestions will not require PstI, otherwise the mCherry sequence will be cut as well as the site of interest. Alternatively, the assembly can be performed using non-standard BioBrick assembly.
Part cannot be submitted to registry as the rights are owned by Clontech. The mBanana sequence is however commercially available from Clontech in the pmBanana vector.
