ZF21.16 minCMV promoter - Cre recombinase
Usage and Description
This composite part is a translational unit implemented in our project for conditional expression of Cre recombinase enzyme following stimulation of vimentin syn notch receptor. This enzyme controls the conditional expression of our booster genes (SDC4, STEAP3, NadB) (BBa_K4586027) by deleting (STOP) sequence flanked by two loxP sites upstream to the coding of our booster genes.
This figure illustrates the role of the Cre loxP system in regulation the expression of our booster genes.
characterization of booster genes by mathematical modeling
1- unconditioned expression of booster genes.
This graph illustrates the relation between the amount of exosomal production (represented as blue line) and the levels of our syn notch activation when the production of the booster genes is constitutive and unconditioned by the Cre loxP system.
2- conditioned expression of booster genes:
This graph illustrates the relation between the amount of exosomal production (represented as blue line) and the levels of our syn notch activation when the production of the booster genes is conditioned by the activation of syn notch receptor and expression of Cre recombinaze enzyme.
