DeHa2 (Delftia Acidovorans)
Haloacid Dehalogenase originating from Delftia Acidovorans, belonging to the α/β hydrolase superfamily. Likely candidate for performing PFAS degradation due to Delftia acidorovans’s ability to subsist solely off of PFOA as a carbon source (Harris, et. al 2022)(10.1016/j.synbio.2022.02.005).
The sequence was optimized for the organism E.coli (K12). The GC level was optimized to be Medium (0.33 to 0.66). Existing cutsites were removed and no new ones were created for the following enzymes: BbsI.
