Design Notes
The DNA sequence has been optimized for expression in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The native secretion signal has been replaced with the alpha mating factor sequence from Saccharomyces cerevisiae. A GS linker has been added between the alpha mating factor sequence and the coding sequence.
Source
This gene is from the filamenteous fungus Aspergillus niger strain BCC18081 (Genbank accession EU786167.1).
