This figure shows that the IRF4 and GFP is connected by the (EAAAK)3 linker. This linker is a rigid linker, as a result, we wish this linker will prevent the intereaction between IRF4 and GFP. At the same time ,the linker can keep a realtive long distance between the two protein, which will prevent the nagative interaction occurs during the critical ubiquitination process. We delibrately extend the linker to lower the possibility of the unexpected interaction.
