Design Notes
1. The amino acid sequence of Pfuferritin is derived from the genomic sequence of Pyrococcus furiosus whilst its DNA sequence is codon-optimized based on the codon-usage table of E.coli Strain K12.MG1655.
2. An alpha-helice is omitted at the C temrinus of the original Pfuferritin, to accomodate the newly inserted Nb3 domain.
3. The ferritin domain and the Nb3 domain are interspaced by a flexible GS linker (GGGSGGGGSGGG) to avoid the disruption of the oligomerization of ferritin subunits into a 24-mer.
