RBS spoVG
SpoVG is an endogenous ribosome binding site (RBS).
Usage and Biology
In order to obtain the highest level of translation from this RBS, it must be linked to a coding region preceded by a coding region. A standard prefix increases the distance between the RBS and the start codon and decreases the translation efficiency. In our experiments, we use hyper-spank in combination with spoVG and use this to form the pLldR subunit ( BBa_K4156101 )
