This part is the truncated version of extracellular human IL-6R (aa 1-309). We joined this part with Notch core domain (<partinfo>BBa_K4175001</partinfo>) and ZF_GAl4_KRAB (<partinfo>BBa_K2446037</partinfo>) (Fig 1). We used this truncated version instead of complete extracellular part of IL-6R (<partinfo>BBa_K4175002</partinfo>) because the Notch core domain already contains transmembrane domain. Therefore, we excluded the transmembrane and the hinge part of IL-6R. For more details for IL-6R, please visit <partinfo>BBa_K4175002</partinfo>. truncated human extracellular IL-6R

This part is the truncated version of extracellular human IL-6R (aa 1-309). We joined this part with Notch core domain (BBa_K4175001) and ZF_GAl4_KRAB (BBa_K2446037) (Fig 1). We used this truncated version instead of complete extracellular part of IL-6R (BBa_K4175002) because the Notch core domain already contains transmembrane domain.
