TyrP promoter
Part Description
The Escherichia coli K-12 chromosome has the tyrP promoter, which codes for a part of the tyrosine-specific transport system, at min 42. When phenylalanine and the tyrR gene product are together, tyrP transcription is promoted
Usage
TyrP promoter,normally regulate the expression for a part which codes for tyrosine-specific transport system, it is induced when phenylalanine and the tyrR gene product (TyrR dimer)are together ,taking advantage of that we use it to regulate the expression of PAH and ß-galactosidase.
