Phytophthora Trigger Sequence
Overview
This part is a fragment of the X24 gene of the Phytophthora cryptogea species. This fragment is intended to be used in order to interact with the Phytophthora Toehold w/ GFP Reporter (Part BBa_K3725010) to unravel the hairpin loop in the switch, and allow for expression of the GFP reporter protein downstream. As a result, this part is used to test the functionality of the toehold part in sensing the X24 gene and being a working biosensor for the P. cryptogea pathogen.
