5' Homology Arm for Cluster 2
This 50bp section of DNA is random DNA that is going to be used as a homology arm for recombineering. As part of USYD 2021's project, we have developed a novel recombineering strategy (Babushka Blocks) to insert large amounts of linear DNA into the E. coli chromosome. This and all other homology arms listed in the parts registry can be used by future teams. This homology arm have been designed to minimise self-dimerisation and hairpin formations, as in USYD 2021's project, it will also exist as a separate primer.
