This is the gene circuit that can be used to verify if the toxin gene, ndoA, works as expected. ndoA encodes endoribonuclease EndoA, a toxic component of a type II toxin-antitoxin (TA) system in Bacillus subtilis. We use this gene circuit to verify if ndoA is toxic for the growth of C. glutamicum as well, by comparing its growth state with/without induction.
