Antitermination protein N from Lambda Phage

This part is a protein from Bacteriophage lambda that binds specifically to the BoxB hairpin (BBa_K3657015).

Usage and Biology

This protein can be fused to a protein of interest in order to attract that protein to a specific RNA.

Antitermination protein N (LambdaN) has an essential role in the initiation of the lytic phase of a Bacteriophage lambda. (Parks et al., 2014)
