Usage and Biology
The CcdA protein gives immunity against the CcdB toxin by forming a strong complex CcdA-CcdB and therefore preventing the CcdB toxin to interact with the DNA gyrase.
This part is used to create a kill-switch in combination with the part BBa_K3482016 .
Characterization
All the data concerning the characterization of that part can be found in the composite part : BBa_K3482016 .
