Design Notes
The composite part PelB_CaAP is a combination of signal peptide PelB and CaAP(Calcium Absorption Peptide). The sequence of PelB is obtained from BBa_K208004 with no further codon optimization. Then we fused PelB (BBa_K208004) to the N-terminal of CaAP(BBa_K3606000) for its secretion into the extracellular space.
Source
The sequence of PelB is obtained from BBa_K208004 while the sequence of CAAP is artificially designed based on oligopeptides obtained from tilapia bone collagen hydrolysate, etc.
