RpfCch
The RpfCch is a chimeric protein consisting of the RpfC X. fastidiosa N-terminal transmembrane domain (TMD) and the RpfC C-terminal histidine kinase part from X. campestris. This protein has been proven to sense X. fastidiosa DSF, as with the native X. fastidiosa RpfC, but now the requirement of another protein (X. fastidiosa RpfF) is not needed to sense DSF [1]. The DSF sensing protein RpfC of X. campestris is already present in the repository under BBa_K1315003.
