Design Notes
This part is an improvement of part Baa_K500002, which codes the Geneart Laccase. Geneart Laccase is a polyphenol oxidase, which belongs to the family of blue multicopper oxidases. Laccases oxidize a broad range of substrates, preferably phenolic compounds. As we found in our project, the signal peptide has a strong influence on protein secretory. We have references show that the FLO10-αpro contributes a lot to the laccase secretory in yeast. As a part, we want to amplify the response of the promoter.
