Lactobacillus spp Slp constitutive promoter

This part refers to the Surface (S)-Layer Protein Constitutive Promoter for Lactobacillus sp.

  • The sequence was the same used in the addgene plasmid pTRKH3-slpGFP. It is reported that this promoter expresses a high level of transcripts of mRNA, and it is proved that works in different strains of Lactobacillus spp.
  • This same promoter was used by Lubkowicz and colleagues in 2018 while developing a biosensor for Staphylococcus aureus infection.
