BsracE20 - Bicistronic containing RBS20 to stabilize gene expression.
According to that pre-cistron can affect the expression of next cistron, and we select a short 5' sequence of high-protein-abundance gene from Corynebacterium glutamicum as the pre-cistron trying to improve the stabilization of the expression of racE(coding racemase enzyme).
Usage and Biology
The bicistronic has a translational coupling effect. Using bicistronics can stabilize the expression of the target gene.In order to more precisely regulate the activity of the racE gene, our team used the bicistronic system to further stabilize the expression of the racE gene.
