This part can express LacI protein constitutively. It can be used on regulating the promoters with lacO operators, such as Ptac(BBa_K864400) part and the derived Ptac promoter,such as BBa_K2572025,BBa_K3254015,BBa_K3254016 and BBa_K864407.

Usage and Biology

The functionalities of the inducible divice made up by this part and Ptac derived promoters on a P15A plasmid in E.coli DH5α host cell were described on the page of BBa_K3254025.
