Design Notes
The inverter system consists of lactose operon, CⅠprotein and PλR012. The LacI repressor is constitutively expressed which inhibites transcription from the pLac promoter in the absence of IPTG, thus PλR012 could be active. While the expression of the CI repressor can be induced by externally added IPTG and inhibited the transcription of PλR012, hence realizing the reversal of the function.
Source
The source of dual inverter was almost from iGEM part.
