Metallothionein-IV promoter Uniprot Q9HFC9-1

Part contains the promoter sequence that in native cells activates the metallothionein IV (MTP IV) transcription after the cell exposure to high concentrations of heavy metals (for example Cu, Pb, Cd). Thus, the level of protein expression is regulated by the concentration of metal ions in the medium.
