pMnt-RFP reporter for Mnt expression

Used to measure the expression of MntR and give a mRFP read out. If pMnt is present, the system should be repressed and no mRFP signal should be detectable.

Usage and Biology

The pMnt is a promoter originating from the Salmonella bacteriophage P22.

This promoter is regualted by MntR. If MntR binds to the promoter transcription of downstream genes is inhibited.
