atoD

This sequence encodes for atoD, which is the first enzyme responsible for degrading unpleasant axilla odors E-3-methyl-3-hexenoic acid (E-3M2H).Together with BBa_K2570007 , it can add coA to E-3M2H for fatty acid activation and its subsequent degradation. These works are in conjunctions with BBa_K2570007 and BBa_K2570008, aiming to eliminate unpleasant axilla odors E-3M2H by converting acids into alcohols.

The atoD sequence was obtained from E.coli BW25113 by PCR
