Improved Blue Fluorescent Protein (BFP)
This "Improved Blue Florescent Protein (BFP) is assembled as an attempt to improve B0034-BFP (BBa_K592024). This part has its own promoter, ribosome binding site (rbs), and double terminators. In addition, SalI and NdeI restriction sites are also present between promoter and rbs, also rbs and coding region, respectively. This allows promoter or rbs to be changed with desired ones.
Usage and Biology
This part could be used as a reporter. The fluorescence can be visualized qualitatively under ultraviolet (UV) light. Using quantitative fluorescence measurement method, it is best assessed with "UV" settings of GloMax®-Multi Detection System: 365 nm excitation and 410-460 nm emission.
