Test Trp anti-terminator/terminator
This part is designed to test the functionality of the trp operon regulatory sequence which uses transcriptional attenuation (via the "anti-termination" mechanism) to regulate gene expression.
Usage and Biology
In the presence of tryptophan, the trp regulatory sequence will attenuate transcription, and GFP will not be transcribed. This construct serves as a means of testing the functionality of the 'trp' regulatory sequence by comparing GFP expression with different environmental concentrations of tryptophan amino acid.
