PtrpP was described by Sarsero et. al. (Sarsero et.al 2000). Chromosomal DNA of the Bacillus subtilis wildtype 168 (Laboratory collection AG Commichau, Department for General Microbiology, University Göttingen, Germany) was amplified via PCR to acquire this part.
