Design Notes

We acquired the base pair sequence for this protein by running the uniprot amino acid sequence for ahpC through the Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) Codon Optimization software, optimized for E. Coli. We then added a FLAG sequence at the C-terminus so that our protein could be easily visualized using a Western Blot.
