The figure shows the RFP/OD for E.coli when we used our experimental promoter in comparison to our negative (promoter towards GFP) and positive (strong promoter towards RFP) controls. The blue represents the E.coli in a growth medium and the red represents the E.coli in Iron(II) sulfate.
