lldR repressor generator
A part that constitutively generates the LldR repressor
Usage and Biology
This part consists of:
- A weak promoter from Anderson's Promoter Library (BBa_J23114): You don't want a lot of repressor protein when you design a biosensor, this would make the biosensor less sensitive, so this promoter is adequate for use in biosensor circuits.
- An RBS based on Elowitz repressilator (BBa_B0034).
- The regulatory protein LldR (BBa_K1847001) which represses ldhA and lldD, genes that encode for lactate dehydrogenates.
- A terminator
