TEF Promoter + vox + Ura3 + Ura3 terminator + vox + β-carotene

Introduction

It is regulated by TEF1 promoter. This composite workes for inserting the vox sites and Ura3 gene between them can be replaced by any structural gene. Initially, Before the vika-vox system works, the β-carotene does not express. After mating, the component between two vox sites will be deleted by vika enzyme and the β-carotene gene will synthesize β-carotene. Yeasts turns to orange.
