miR418 target sequence

It is the target sequence of miR418, a modularized DNA part from a set of chemically synthetic oligo DNA library.

Usage and Biology

MiRNA locker assembled by using this modularized DNA part was able to bind miR418 in an Ago2 dependent manner, that is, knockdown of miR418 was achieved by transfecting cells with miRNA locker.

Osa-miR418 was firstly found in Arabidopsis. It is located in Chr3, ds of at 3g18890(a) and we still does not find its homolog of known Arabidopsis miRNAs.1
