Design Notes
This sequence is modified for use in yeast or other AT-rich fungi. yangyang miao has used this plasmid to convert the mating type of S.cerevisiae BY4741 to BY4742 It is a composite part to control the expression of HO gene. What's more, it triggers the transformation of their mating type.
Source
We connect the segments(Gal-HO-CYC1) by T4 DNA Ligase.
