Endo beta galactosidase

Usage and Biology

The basic part consists of the endo-beta galactosidase enzyme coding sequence with a His-tag C-terminally attached. This enzyme has been shown to release saccharide chains from glycans expressed in gastric mucus. It performs this action by hydrolysing the bonds next to galactose saccharides in the polysaccharide chains of mucin. The sequence originates fro=m the species Clostridium Perfringens.
