This construct is used to determine the functionality of the araC/pBAD promoter. Furthermore it can be used as a positive control in many fluorescence based experiments.

eYFP was expressed induced with different L-arabinose concentrations (0, 0.0002. 0.002 and 0.2%). Furthermore, sole eYFP termini were used as negative controls.

Used protocol can be found at http://2017.igem.org/Team:Wageningen_UR/Notebook/Protocols

We clearly show that increasing the concentration of L-arabinose leads to a higher fluorescent signal due to increased protein production.
