This part is used to build a kill-switch.

We measured the growth curve of bacteria expressing toxin ParE2.

The growth curve of wild type E. coli harboring empty vector is shown below.

This construction is also used to identify the interaction between toxins and antitoxins. See: BBa_K2150117
