pEXPR pTALER14 - eYFP

This construct is the result of a gateway combining a TALER14 repressible promoter upstream of the eYFP gene, a yellow fluorescent protein. pTALER14 consists of one repressible site upstream and four repressible sites downstream of the minimal CMV promoter. A VP-16 Gal4 protein complex recruits the transcription machinery of the promoter. The TALER14 repressor inhibits the activator and transcription machinery from transcribing the eYFP gene.
