TPA inducible RFP expression system

PETase gene encodes the PETase enzyme which can degrade PET to terephthalic acid (TPA) and ethylene glycol (EG) with another enzyme MHETase. However, the product TPA can cause inhibition of the reaction and slow down it. This expression system consists of the TPA inducible Leader sequence(BBa_K2110001), the enhanced promoter PGK1(BBa_K2110012), α-factor signal peptide(BBa_K2110017),the PETase gene(BBa_K2110800) and Terminator CYC1(BBa_K2110000). It can be induced by product TPA so that this is a positive feedback system. This system is used in Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
