We used Imaging Flow Cytometry to characterise this part, as it allowed us to visualise the expression of both red and green fluorescent proteins. This part was transformed in DH5-alpha and grown in LB overnight. The cells were fixed and diluted 10 times in 10% formalin buffer before use in Imaging FLow Cytometry, where they were excited by a laser optimised for reading at 488nm. In order to control for signal leakage between channels, BBa_I20260 and BBa_J04450 were used as single colour controls. This intensity plot of both colours was created.

Applications of BBa_K1645999
