Red light biosensor
Strong promoter BBa_J23119.Strong RBS BBa_B0030 Chimeric Red light receptor Cph8 BBa_I15010.
Phosphorylation of OmpR by Cph8 inhibits the expression of the genes regulated by promoter POmpC. Since OmpR and POmpC are naturaly found in E.coli, this biobrick enables a circadian expression of genes regulated by POmpC in E. coli strain deleted for EnvZ.
